Volunteer
Volunteers are a key component of the successful accomplishment of the non-profit organization's mission. Our mission is twofold: 1) Helping burn victims become burn survivors through financial and emotional support, and 2) Preventing future burn injuries through community awareness and education. Your volunteer support is essential in each of these mission areas (note that the Prevention Volunteer Form includes office support for that program, if that is an area where you would prefer to volunteer):
Prevention program volunteer (smoke alarm walks, health & safety fairs, office assistance). A background check is required for prevention programs and will be paid for by the Foundation.

Important news for Camp Courage volunteers for 2012:
We can no longer process background checks with fingerprint cards. If you have one on file with us, note that the card will be shredded by March 1, 2012 unless you notify us that you will be picking up your card at our office or at the camp volunteer training session in May. WE WILL NOT MAIL THESE CARDS. The new background check form will only be handed out during the MANDATORY training session, which will be held Saturday, May 5th, 8:30am to 4pm (see Camp Courage page on this website for training location, address).
Volunteer Counselors and Staff must be available to arrive at camp on Saturday, June 9th by 11am to assist with camp/cabin setup and to prepare for camper arrival on Sunday morning.
